Palm Treo 600: What's on my Treo?

Tuesday 20 September 2005

What's on my Treo? I'm not starting from scratch, so my new Palm Treo 600 - which has only been around for a few days - is running lots of the software that was laboriously configured for my Handspring Treo 180.

Remarkably much of it works well. I've upgraded a few things to take advantage of the color screen, but I'm amazed how the old stuff holds its own. (I'm also experimenting with a few things I downloaded, so in the following explanation you'll see several packages which do similar things. We'll see how it all shakes out.)

As time permits I'll flesh out this list. For the moment I'll leave this stub here...

Hi-Launcher Hi-Launcher, a user-customizable pop-up menu. It appears over the main dialing user interface.

Have you found errors nontrivial or marginal, factual, analytical and illogical, arithmetical, temporal, or even typographical? Please let me know; drop me email. Thanks!
