Funding the ZLDF

The Zimmermann Legal Defense Fund, the ZLDF, was founded to help defray the costs of PRZ's legal battle. Hugh Miller, of Loyola University, wrote the original ZLDF appeal (although back then it was called the "PZDF"). It's good reading and does a great job of giving a history of PRZ's plight.

The original appeal described how one could contribute via credit card (and gave instructions on writing a contribition email and encrypting it with - what else - PGP). Nathaniel S. Borenstein, of First Virtual, write the ZLDF Virtual Yellow Ribbon Appeal, which described an on-going campaign of putting a ZLDF tag-line in email signatures to spread awareness of the appeal, and noted that

if you don't yet have a First Virtual account, this is the perfect time to get one, because FV has agreed to make a cash donation to ZLDF for everyone who signs up for a new FV account through the NetResponse ZLDF web pages!"

Peter Simons founded the ZLDF/Europe, an effort has a great track-record of raising money for the cause.

Have you found errors nontrivial or marginal, factual, analytical and illogical, arithmetical, temporal, or even typographical? Please let me know; drop me email. Thanks!
