You may have seen the photograph of the Zimmermann Legal Defense Team celebrating the announcement of the investigations end. Here are some close-ups of us at Hamano Sushi, before the sake and beer started flowing. From left to right, Philip Zimmermann, Phil Dubois, Curt Karnow, and me.

Dubois stayed at my house several times during the years of the government's investigation. You may have seen an ECIFFO article about my technomad computing during my Haight-Ashbury days. I took Dubois to my favorite haunts, one of which was a trendy café (when cappucino was hard to find in San Francisco).

Another time Dubois stayed over, always at the pleasure of Copernicus the cat, the fringes of a Pacific hurricane had brushed our fair city, toppling eucalyptus trees in "Golder Gate Park". We went for a walk to survey the damage and the efforts of the garden maintainers.

I have been saving the best for last. My favorite object in the park is a statue of Don Quixote de la Mancha and his sidekick Sancho Pancha gazing upwards lovingly at a bust of their author, Miguel Cervantes. I posed Dubois alongside the other two dreamers...

Have you found errors nontrivial or marginal, factual, analytical and illogical, arithmetical, temporal, or even typographical? Please let me know; drop me email. Thanks!
