BMW Hints

I would like to be able to say that everything I learned about my Bimmer came from the Owner's Manual, but it's just not so. Here are some tidbits gleaned from discussion groups on the 'net:

* To set the on-board clock push and hold the HR/DT button until the colon in the time display starts blinking, at which point you're in the time/date set mode. The buttons under the clock display - h and hh - adjust the hour and minutes. Best of all, to switch between 12- and 24-hour (military) time push the c/f button.

Have you found errors nontrivial or marginal, factual, analytical and illogical, arithmetical, temporal, or even typographical? Please let me know; drop me email. Thanks!
